Ripple Social (“Ripple Social,” “we,” “us”) is a social media management platform operated by Island Pond Group, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account & company details you provide: your name, email, company name, industry, address, phone, contact name, billing email, and alert phone number.
  • Content you create in the app: post drafts, captions, hashtags, generated and uploaded images, brand kit assets (logos, colors, fonts), schedules, and approval activity.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or other platforms, we receive and securely store access tokens and basic account details (such as page/profile name and ID) needed to publish on your behalf.
  • Performance data: once posts publish, we retrieve metrics (reach, impressions, engagement) from the connected platforms to power your reporting.
  • Authentication data: we use secure session cookies to keep you signed in.

How we use your information

  • To provide the service: generating content ideas and graphics, scheduling, and publishing to the platforms you connect.
  • To improve suggestions by learning from the posts you approve (so future drafts match your voice).
  • To show you analytics and reporting on your content and paid campaigns.
  • To process subscriptions and send service and account notifications.

Service providers (subprocessors)

We share data only with vendors that help us run the service, under their own terms and security commitments:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Anthropic — AI generation of content text.
  • Cloudflare — AI generation of images.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Pinterest — publishing your content and retrieving its performance, only for accounts you connect.
  • Stripe — subscription billing (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Resend — transactional email.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.

Platform data (Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest)

When you connect a social account, you authorize Ripple Social to publish content and read the performance of that content on your behalf. We request only the permissions needed for these features. You can disconnect any platform at any time from the Connections page, which revokes our access and removes the stored tokens. Your use of each platform also remains subject to that platform’s own terms and policies.

Data retention & deletion

  • We keep your data while your account is active.
  • If you cancel, your data is kept for 30 days after your paid period ends (so you can return), then permanently deleted.
  • You can delete your data at any time using the “Delete my data now” option in Account & Billing, which removes your posts, drafts, images, and connections.
  • Learning archive: when an account is deleted, we may retain a copy of its content and performance data (industry, brand voice notes, post copy, formats, and metrics) for internal product improvement. This archive excludes contact and billing information. If you want this excluded as well, contact us at the address below.

Your rights & choices

You can access and update your information in the app, disconnect platforms, cancel your subscription, and request deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, portability, and erasure) under laws like the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. To exercise these, use the in-app controls or contact us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections, access controls, and encrypted storage of access tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Ripple Social is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, notifying you in the app.
